How to Set Up Strimo IPTV on Firestick

Step 1: Install the Downloader App

The Amazon Fire TV platform runs Fire OS (an Android-based system). Because third-party IPTV media players are not always hosted in the default Amazon Appstore, you will use the official Downloader utility to install your preferred player:

1. From the Fire TV Home Screen, select the Find or Search magnifying glass.
2. Type Downloader and select the orange Downloader icon by AFTVnews.
3. Click Download or Get to install the application.

Step 2: Enable Developer Mode on Fire TV

Recent Fire OS updates require enabling Developer Options manually:

1. Go to Settings (the gear icon on your home bar) > My Fire TV.
2. Select About.
3. Highlight Fire TV Stick and click the center remote button 7 times quickly until a banner appears saying "No need, you are already a developer."
4. Press Back once to return to My Fire TV, and you will now see Developer Options.
5. Open Developer Options > Install Unknown Apps > toggle Downloader to ON.

Step 3: Download Your IPTV Player (TiviMate or Smarters)

Launch Downloader from your apps screen, allow storage access permissions, and click the URL address box:

• For TiviMate: Enter tivimate.com or the official numeric Downloader shortcode.
• For IPTV Smarters Pro: Enter the official Smarters APK link provided by our support desk.

Click Go, wait for the APK download to complete, and click Install. Once installed, click Done and choose Delete to remove the setup file and preserve Firestick storage.

Step 4: Configure Strimo IPTV Credentials

Open your installed player app and configure your active subscription:

1. Select Add Playlist > choose Xtream Codes API (preferred over M3U for faster EPG and category loading).
2. Enter any Playlist Name (e.g., Strimo IPTV).
3. Input the Server URL (e.g., http://domain-server:port).
4. Enter your assigned Username and Password exactly as delivered via our WhatsApp desk.
5. Click Done or Add User.

Step 5: Recommended Playback Settings for 60 FPS Sports

To ensure maximum motion smoothness during live sports broadcasting on Firestick:

• Hardware Acceleration: Inside player settings, ensure Video Decoder is set to Hardware (HW) rather than Software (SW).
• Buffer Size: Set buffer size to Medium (2–3 seconds) or Auto to prevent micro-stutters over Wi-Fi.
• Wi-Fi Band: Connect your Firestick to your router's 5 GHz Wi-Fi channel, or use an Amazon Ethernet adapter for zero wireless interference.
